We are honored to welcome Nicole Janigian Simonian as our newest Executive Member. A partner at the international law firm, Crowell & Moring, LLP in Los Angeles, Nicole is co-chair of the firm's International Trade practice and the International Employment and Global Mobility Lead. She is also a director of the firm’s China consulting subsidiary, CMI Shanghai.
Nicole’s practice covers a range of international compliance and regulatory issues including cross border transactions, international trade, global mobility and employment, and global supply chains.
A highly experienced business, compliance, and global employment lawyer, Nicole has over 20 years of experience working as a strategic advisor for a wide range of clients, from emerging growth companies to Fortune 500 multinational conglomerates, on their market entry and global business expansion throughout Asia (including China, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Japan, Vietnam and Thailand), the Middle East, Latin America, and Europe.

In addition to the Crowell leadership roles mentioned above, Nicole is a member of the firm’s Retail Task Force and a member of the Investigations Practice. She is also an advocate for diversity. She is a partner advisor for Crowell’s Women’s Leadership Initiative and served for over eight years as the co-chair of her prior firm’s Women’s Forum, an office mentor coordinator, and a member of the diversity. She also previously served as the head of the Asia Practice.
Among Nicole's professional activities and memberships, she serves as a Board of Director of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Global Council for the Los Angeles Chamber, and a member 2020 World Trade Week Committee; Member, Women in International Trade; and Member, Pacific Council on International Policy, Future Leaders Program.
