Together with MAPLE New York Executive Director, John Costanzo, we'd like to welcome Kristin Rose Pike, founder/CEO of New York-based Northern Rose Spirits as our newest Young Professional member and part of our MAPLE New York Chapter.
Northern Rose Spirits is an importing company focused on bringing unique small batch spirits from Canada to the United States. The name highlights its mission to showcase products that reflected the unique terroir from North of the border, with Northern referring to the origin of the spirits, and Rose representing “love at first sip.”
Inspired by distinctive flavors, innovative makers, and products that truly enhance the experience of a drink, Northern Rose is committed to sourcing spirits that express the native terroir through natural and local ingredients and aims to provide a route for special producers to reach those who appreciate exceptional tastes. These include those from Still Fired Distilleries, Distillery Charlevoyou, and Les Spiritueux Iberville.
Kristin Pike has adventure in her DNA. Hailing from Eastern Canada, her lineage dates back to a fabled love story between a Princess and a Pirate migrating through Newfoundland in the 1600s. So, it’s no surprise that her route to the spirits world was forged through her travels abroad. Passionate about understanding how things are created and peeling back the layers of what makes a unique profile, she also realized the wonderful things that are native to Canada.
