MAPLE programs feature great cross-sector networking and cross-border insights from featured presenters as we celebrate and explore the significant ties that Southern California and Canada share together.

Joining us at the MAPLE podium will be Derek Armstrong, Director of the San Bernardino County Office of Economic Development. In 2023, San Bernardino County joined MAPLE Business Council to foster closer economic ties with one of the County’s leading export markets and sources of foreign direct investment. Derek will be profiling what’s new and notable in San Bernardino which is the largest county by geography in the United States and is home to over 2 million people.

We are also pleased to welcome Chris Antonelli, District Manager at Purolator International as a featured presenter. Purolator International is a leading U.S. based supply chain logistics solutions provider specializing in the air and ground forwarding of express, freight and parcel shipments, customs brokerage, and fulfillment and delivery services to, from and within North America. They are a subsidiary of Purolator Inc., the leading integrated freight, package and logistics solutions provider in Canada.  Chris will be sharing insights on Canada-U.S. goods trade and perspectives on key trends in his industry.
