After presenting our quarterly Report on MAPLE, we are honored to welcome two of our organization members to the virtual podium for a focus on one of Canada’s most dynamic markets - Québec. Our speakers will be joining us from Investissement Québec International (IQI) and Fasken Law as we explore opportunities to invest, grow and trade with Québec.

Presenting on behalf of Investissement Québec International will be Daniel Silverman, Vice President of Foreign Direct Investment and Marie-Eve Jean, Vice President of Exports.

IQI assists foreign companies in setting up operations in Québec and supports Québec subsidiaries seeking new local mandates. The organization also helps identify business opportunities in Québec’s leading-edge sectors, such as energy, creative industries and IT.

Fasken Partners Neil Kravitz and Claude Jodoin will be discussing the current corporate, commercial and tax environment for doing business in Quebec including commercial business, M&A and operational considerations as well as relevant tax aspects for particular industries including incentives for companies in certain sectors such as high tech.
