Please note that meeting times are Eastern.
We look forward to welcoming members, partners and guests to our New York Chapter Hybrid Fall Reception. We have a very special venue to welcome you as the Québec Government Office in New York will be hosting us at their midtown Manhattan office located beside Rockefeller Center.
After in-person and online networking, MAPLE® New York Executive Director John Costanzo will be sharing an update on MAPLE® Business Council. We are also honoured to welcome Quebec Delegate General Martine Hebert to share some introductory remarks virtually.
We will then be turning our podium over to our featured presentations.
We are delighted to hear from members of the Investissement Quebec International team and the Quebec Government Office in New York including Benoit Larouche, Director Foreign Direct Investment; Lauren Zoebelein, Investment Attache; Sebastian Lanthier, Director Trade & Economic Affairs; and Jean-Pierre Dion, Director Cultural Services.
We will also be welcoming Sarah Robertson, Partner and New York Trademark Department Head at law firm Dorsey & Whitney, to the MAPLE® podium. In her talk, "Investing in Brand Value: Maximizing IP Assets and Positioning for Cross-Border Expansion", Sarah will outline business and legal strategies for maximizing the value of intellectual property assets to help attract capital and to facilitate US-Canada cross-border expansion.
Finally, Kristin Rose Pike, founder of Northern Rose Spirits and a recent MAPLE Young Professional member in our New York Chapter, will be providing a window on her company that imports artisanally-crafted distilled spirits from Quebec and other regions north of our Canada-U.S. border.
This will be a hybrid event with an opportunity for members and guests to join us online for concurrent networking and viewing of the presentations using our interactive conference platform.
