MAPLE Business Council brings together executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and service providers to discuss trade, investment and entrepreneurship opportunities between Southern California and Canada. Our Quarterly Receptions are an opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders locally to network, discover new insights and contribute to the MAPLE cross-border community.
Riverside County Office of Foreign Trade: Past, Present and Future!
We are honored to welcome Jaime Hurtado, Manager of International Business Matching and Trade Delegations at Riverside County Office of Foreign Trade, to provide an overview of the work of his office and their ties with Canada. RivCo is a renewing member of MAPLE Business Council for which we are most grateful. The Canadian footprint in Riverside County is significant as it is the 5th source of foreign direct investment with more than 70 Canadian-owned companies supporting an annual payroll of nearly $90 million.
The Power of Intentional Disruption
We are also excited to welcome Deborah Hartnett-Kennedy, Southern California partner of Edmonton and Orange County-based Unstoppable Conversations to the podium. A new member organization this year, this leadership performance consulting firm has a wealth of cross-sector experience in helping business and government organizations achieve performance breakthroughs. Deborah will be speaking about the power of intentional disruption in an organization. What is it and when does an organization need it?
More information on our Summer Reception will be forthcoming soon.
