We are delighted to share that Clinton J. Green, Managing Attorney and Canadian Practice Lead at Brown Immigration Law, has joined our MAPLE community as an Executive Member based in Los Angeles.
Clinton partners with businesses and entrepreneurs to implement Canadian immigration strategies as part of their global plans for workforce management. He regularly processes applications for temporary and permanent residence, including business visitors, work permits, labour market impact assessments, and permanent residence (express entry and provincial nominations). He also advises on inadmissibility, immigration compliance, and citizenship matters.
Clinton has almost a decade of experience practicing Canadian immigration law at preeminent immigration law firms in Toronto, Canada. He has partnered with clients ranging from Fortune 100 multinational companies to start-ups and entrepreneurs across various sectors. As a complement to his practice, Clinton sits on the Ontario Bar Association’s Citizenship and Immigration Law Section (“OBA Immigration Section”) Executive, where he has helped design professional development programming for immigration lawyers. Most recently, the OBA Immigration Section Executive elected him Vice-Chair, which also means that Clinton will serve as the 2024-2025 Chair. He also regularly speaks at panels and seminars on Canadian immigration law.
Clinton’s passion for immigration law is informed by his family’s experience immigrating to Canada. He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, where he received the Joel S. Guberman Prize in Immigration Law for achieving the highest standing in the course, as well as the Dean’s Gold Key Award.
