MAPLE Welcomes Christine Perrin of Economic Development Winnipeg as a Young Professional Member

We are delighted to welcome our newest Young Professional Member - Christine Perrin, Senior Manager, North America at Economic Development Winnipeg (EDW). 

In her role, Christine leverages prospecting tools and market intelligence to identify potential foreign investment opportunities for Winnipeg and the surrounding region. She also works with foreign companies located in Winnipeg to identify opportunities for growth and provides tailored services to clients to facilitate investment projects.

Prior to her position at EDW, Christine worked as a Project Manager in the energy sector for Manitoba Hydro International (MHI), a subsidiary of the electric power and natural gas utility in the province of Manitoba. During her five-year tenure at MHI, Christine was responsible for securing contracts and managing the execution of large-scale energy projects in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Benin in Sub-Saharan Africa. 

She also led business development initiatives worldwide, including the preparation of technical and financial proposals, regional strategies, liaising with international financing agencies, and recruitment of staff. 

Christine holds a bachelor’s in Business Administration with majors in International Business and Marketing and a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
