We are very pleased to share that our MAPLE community has grown to a record level. Today, our members work in 23 sectors and are located in 22 markets. In the first half of 2021, we have had the pleasure of welcoming new members from Vancouver, Toronto, Montréal, Saint-Georges, Québec, Buffalo, New York City, Greensboro, Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles. Thank you all!
But while trade and investment is about numbers, MAPLE is about relationships. So what makes us most excited by the growth of our community is the richness of networking and content sharing that comes with growth in our membership. And with virtual programming to complement a return to in-person events this fall, members can connect and share with one another regardless of geography so we can all truly benefit. We look forward to bringing you more opportunities to connect in the coming months.
