David Atkinson SVP City National Bank Joins MAPLE Business Council

We are delighted to welcome Mr. David Atkinson, senior vice president and foreign exchange sales manager for City National Bank’s International department, as an executive member of MAPLE Business Council®.

Mr. Atkinson is responsible for foreign exchange trading activity, market research and commentary, and all aspects of client servicing. Before assuming his current position in 2010, Mr. Atkinson served as a vice president and foreign exchange advisor.

 Prior to joining City National in 2002, he was a foreign exchange trader at Allied Irish Bank in Los Angeles. He began his financial services career as a corporate foreign exchange trader at Comerica Bank in 1999.

 Mr. Atkinson earned a master’s degree in economics from the University of Texas at Arlington and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

He resides in South Pasadena, Calif., and is an active volunteer with City National’s award-winning literacy initiative, Reading is The way up®.
