MAPLE to Welcome Long Beach California to Vancouver for SelectUSA InvesTech

We will be returning to Vancouver to participate in the U.S. Commercial Service's inaugural InvesTech conference on February 27th and will be co-hosting two evening receptions before and after the conference.

On February 26th, we will be co-hosting an evening reception with the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Commercial Service and will be welcoming a delegation from the City of Long Beach as our special guest. This reception will also launch the InvesTech conference on February 27th, a SelectUSA event planned especially for Vancouver-area tech companies on the opportunities to grow in the United States.

MAPLE and our guests from the City of Long Beach will be attending the InvesTech conference which will be held at the offices of Dentons Vancouver. As part of the afternoon program, the City of Long Beach will profile their economic development plans.

On the evening of February 27th, we will be hosting an after-reception at the Pan Pacific Hotel for additional networking with the City of Long Beach as our special guest. We are grateful for the generous support of Air Canada, the Pan Pacific Hotel, and the Vancouver Hotel Destination Association for this event.

The City of Long Beach is planning to send a small delegation representing city officials, the Port of Long Beach, economic development, tech, real estate and Cal State University Long Beach to build greater awareness for the City's economic growth and business development momentum including a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. In November, MAPLE and the City of Long Beach signed a MOU to promote bilateral economic development opportunities with Canada.
