MAPLE to Lead Business Delegation to Québec Canada

As part of our work in building a bridge between Southern California and Canada, MAPLE Business Council® leads outbound delegations to major Canadian markets. In 2017, we brought Southern California business leaders to Vancouver and Toronto. As we look ahead to 2018, we are planning our first mission to Montréal and Québec City.

We will be spending three days in Québec's largest markets to take the pulse of these dynamic regions. As leading centers of aviation, artificial intelligence, gaming and higher education among other sectors, there are many reasons for Southern California businesses to get better acquainted with Montréal and Québec City. Our delegation dates will be on June 13-15, 2018 and will start with '48 Hours in Montréal' where we will meet with innovation, industry cluster, and government organizations for two days of private briefings. In addition, we will be hosting a MAPLE networking reception on the evening of June 13th in downtown Montréal to connect our delegates and area business leaders. Thank you to our corporate member, Teknion, who will be hosting our cross-border reception at their downtown Montréal showroom.  In addition to cross-border networking, we will be sharing the mission of MAPLE and shining a spotlight on the Southern California region. On our final day in Québec, we will be in Québec City for briefings with organizations in Québec's capital city.

Leading our delegation is our LA-based Business Ambassador to Québec, Mr. Charles Gauthier, who represented Québec in New York, Los Angeles, and Mumbai India as a member of the Québec government for over 25 years and is now in private practice. We look forward to hosting this delegation and discovering how we can support more business opportunities between organizations in Québec and Southern California.
