Come join University of Southern California California Marshall School of Business and Coding for Veterans at America’s New Year Celebration !!!
Each year, approximately 34 organizations from around the world are selected to take part in the historic Rose Bowl Parade; University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and Coding for Veterans is returning for the second year following their award-winning float submission from 2024. The building of the USC Marshall - C4V float named "Coming Home to New Beginnings" began months ago and will conclude during “Decorating Week” with the installation of thousands of roses and other floral arrangements.
The Details: Are you interested in being one of a select few who will bring a Rose Bowl Parade float to life? You will gain behind the scenes access as one of our volunteers that will place thousands of flowers on the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and Coding for Veterans float in the week leading up to January 1st, 2025. We are looking for volunteers who want to share a once in a lifetime experience with their fellow float decorators.
Note: Individuals can select any of the themed day(s)/shifts to participate all are welcome. You must register for each shift separately.
Dec 26th - SoCal Day (Shift #1 8:00am-4:00pm, Shift #2 4:00pm-9:00pm)
Dec 27th - Veteran Appreciation Day (Shift #1 8:00am-4:00pm, Shift #2 4:00pm-11:00pm)
Dec 28th - Canada Day (Shift #1 8:00am-4:00pm, Shift #2 4:00pm-11:00pm)
Dec 29th - USC Alumni Day (Shift #1 8:00am-4:00pm, Shift #2 4:00pm-11:00pm)
Dec 30th - Hollywood Day (Shift #1 8:00am-4:00pm, Shift #2 4:00pm-11:00pm)
Dec 30th - (Shift #3 11:00 pm until Sunrise -This is our final push to get the float finished )
Thank a Veteran Program
The “Thank a Veteran” program is an opportunity to thank the men and women who have served our country in uniform.
For $25, you can purchase a flower for the Coding for Veterans float as a way to Thank a Veteran for their service. Your flower will be placed on the float as part of our “Dedication Garden” and your message of thanks to the veteran you are honoring will appear on our Digital Wall of Appreciation (up to 250 characters).
